Discovering More about Our In-House Clear Braces Treatment

At Lake Erie Dental, we offer a unique in-house aligner treatment exclusively for the Erie, PA community. After speaking with many of our patients, we learned that there was a high demand for invisible braces but that many people were taken aback by the cost of name-brand treatments. Many patients who were excellent candidates for this orthodontic treatment were choosing not to proceed based on cost alone.

Dr. Kevin Sambuchino searched for a solution to this problem and discovered the answer was to provide an in-house aligner treatment using cutting-edge dental technology. Our Erie, PA office houses a 3-D printer, and we use this printer to create your aligners right here in our office. Most dental offices in the state of Pennsylvania and even across the country are unable to offer an alternative to name-brand clear dental aligners, and we pride ourselves in providing this option to our patients without them ever having to leave their dental chair.

Am I A Good Candidate for This In-House Treatment?

As with Invisalign and other name-brand invisible braces treatments, the best candidates are adults and teenagers with fully-developed mouths. Dental aligners need to be worn at least 22 hours per day and should only be taken out when eating and when cleaning your teeth, so all invisible braces candidates must be responsible and monitor their own usage.

Additionally, our in-house aligner treatment is ideal for patients whose orthodontic needs are relatively simple. If you have conditions such as a severe overbite or underbite or have considerate crowding, our clear braces likely are not the best course of treatment. A consultation with Dr. Sambuchino will help determine what the best orthodontic options are for you.
