Dr. Robert Halmi merged with Dr. Sambuchino in January 2007. A life-long resident of Erie County, Dr. Halmi has practiced dentistry for 39 Years. Dr. Halmi performs general dentistry, in addition to orthordontics.
Dr. Halmi graduated from General McLane High School in 1960 and attended Edinboro University of PA with a pre-dental major. He graduated from the University of Buffalo School of Dental Medicine in 1961. Following dental school, Dr. Halmi served in the United States Navy for 8 years including one year of service in Vietnam with the US Marine Corps.
Dr. Halmi is married with 5 children and 2 grandchildren. He currently resides in Washington Township with his wife Sally and two youngest children, Andrew and Emily, as well as 4 dogs,9 cats, and 2 horses. As an active member of the community, Dr. Halmi is a former Edinboro councilman and past mayor. He also previously served on the Boro Sewer and Water Authority and Police Civil Service Commission.
Dr. Halmi enjoys hunting, fishing, skiing, backpacking, scuba diving, and cutting fire wood. He holds a private pilot’s license and is a licensed charter boat captain.
